John Loftus has turned his humble Outsider Test for Faith into a major merchandise industry that sells some of the hottest product around today (news from WSJ is that it's going public early 2012). Some of the most fashionable and beautiful people in the world are wearing OTF gear. The T-blog paparazzi team, headed by Patrick Chan, have captured these photos:
But here's my question for our lawyer readers, since Loftus has credited me with being the creative inspiration behind developing the OTF, can I get any royalties off of the massive sales Loftus Inc. is pulling in from his OTF merchandise line? If so, I'll give you a cut if you draft a lawsuit and send it to Loftus' law team.
I think you should get royalties. But I'm not a lawyer.
ReplyDeleteMy "word verification" word is: "brafork"
Don't we deserve some credit for being the loyal opposition?
ReplyDeleteLoftus, myself, Dan Barker, Dawkins, papalinton, etc. are not trying to indoctrinate people within the church. The others have nobly left the church (not myself who has never been) and argue against it from the outside. Isn't that worthy of commendation of some sort?

Well, sorry to disappoint you, but since Loftus didn't cite you as the inspiration for the OTF, I don't think you deserve any credit!
As for getting "credit" or "commendation" for arguing against Christianity, then by the same token Christians should get some sort of credit or commendation for upholding the truth in the face of such opposition - opposition which has more often than not proven unreasonable and irrational, judging by the performance of everyone you've listed.
"Loftus, Dan Barker, Papalinton, and Thunh?" haven't I reduced all four of those guys to absurdity on numerous occasions? I mean, just put Loftus and Barker together and you have man as a piece of broccoli with wings!
ReplyDeleteGood luck getting those royalties. I am sure John's attorneys will fight you tooth and nail. They will also call Triablogue's mouthpiece delusional and brainwashed.
