Carrying On The Work Of Others

In some of my posts over the years (like here and here), I've written about the importance of thinking beyond our generation. We're often too focused on our contemporaries, pleasing them, following their (often false) lead, adopting their false priorities, trivial mindset, and other bad characteristics. We give some attention to future generations, such as when we're thinking about our children and grandchildren, and there's often talk about things like how we expect technology or the economy to develop in the future. I Agree With The Earliest Christians About The Perpetual Virginity Of Mary

I agree with Matthew, Mark, Hegesippus, Irenaeus, and other early Christians who rejected the perpetual virginity of Mary. There were many Christians in early church history who didn't believe that Mary was a perpetual virgin, far more than just Tertullian and Helvidius. You can access an archive of our posts on the perpetual virginity of Mary here. Keep clicking Older Posts in the lower right to see more.

There are too many problems with Ehrman's claims for me to address all of them here, but I want to talk about some of them.
