Where the jobs are

Monster Worldwide published some figures on recent activity in their job postings, and there were some surprising results:

What I thought was striking in this was a figure, about half way through, suggesting that only 4% of college graduates were unemployed, but 17% for high school level and lower. Couple of areas where there was some key growth: industrial engineering (up 28%), auto mechanics (up 24%), retail sales (up 19%), also sales agents in financial services (up 20%), mortgage refinance officers, and "apps" developers for mobile phones and tablets. Health care was strong too.
