Liberal logic

I see that racism is still alive and well in the Republican party. No wonder your friends are praying Obama doesn't win... like you, they believe Obama must be a mugger/gangbanger with "post-traumatic slavery disorder" who only became president of the Harvard Law Review because of "racial quotas". This is the third time this week I've encountered such racism. And I thought America was above this kind of bigotry.

Change in Selection System

Mr. Obama was elected after a meeting of the review's 80 editors that convened Sunday and lasted until early this morning, a participant said.

Until the 1970's the editors were picked on the basis of grades, and the president of the Law Review was the student with the highest academic rank. Among these were Elliot L. Richardson, the former Attorney General, and Irwin Griswold, a dean of the Harvard Law School and Solicitor General under Presidents Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard M. Nixon.

That system came under attack in the 1970's and was replaced by a program in which about half the editors are chosen for their grades and the other half are chosen by fellow students after a special writing competition. The new system, disputed when it began, was meant to help insure that minority students became editors of The Law Review.

Harvard, like a number of other top law schools, no longer ranks its law students for any purpose including a guide to recruiters.

    Emphasis on "moron."

I wrote on an earlier thread that my prayer request is that Obama is not elected. This misnamed Dr. Logic then erroneously extrapolates that I'm a racist Republican along with other Republican friends who believe that Obama must be a mugger/gangbanger.

What kind of leap of idiocy is this?

Just because I don't want Obama elected doesn't mean I'm a racist. It means that I think he's the worst choice, by far, between the 2 real choices that voting citizens have.

His stance and voting record on abortion, a transcendent moral issue, is particularly vile and heinous. That alone makes McCain preferable, even though there are scores of other reasons to support McCain over Obama.

More posts from Dr. Logic and folks of his ilk justify why there are some people who occasionally utter redundancies like:

    Stupid Lib.
