Kurschner should explain why εἰς αὐτὸν is significant. The vast majority of SEA readers don't know any Greek, which is why they are easily swayed by whatever Abasciano says. Some have even said he is a Greek scholar (oh what a NT Studies degree confers apparently!). Hopefully he edits that by going into further explanation.
Incidentally, I should probably add that I agree both with your original statement and my Arminianized interpretation of it ;-) But to be serious, I do hope Kurschner adds a bit more to what he wrote too. Although he might be assuming people watched White's rebuttal to Abasciano on The Dividing Line too for more context, I have had interactions in the past with certain members of SEA who have said they never watch the DL precisely because White is on it.

DeleteThe use of the word "any" means your clause is indefinite and therefore you are clearly saying the vast majority of SEA readers don't know anything.
Just saying.
I see what you did there.
