This is funny. Weigel was an official biographer of JPII, but in his spare time, I believe he was a George Bush neoconservative. I'm sure that some people are studying this with the multi-colored highlighter pens that Weigel suggests. But it does serve to illustrate the time frame that those in the Vatican are working with. 100+ years is not too long to get your opinion out and stated officially.
