A Credible Profession of Faith

A Credible Profession of Faith by Steve Hays

  1. From your link:

"For example, elect infants who die in infancy are saved by regeneration rather than faith ... even elect infants who died in infancy do not, presumably, remain in their infantile state for all eternity. Rather, they will mature in mind and body. They will grow up. And they will grow into the faith."

So, what happens to the "non-elect" infants? Describe in as much detail as possible, please.

The author doesn't really go into this. Is this because the thought of God frying babies like wontons in a steaming vat of Crisco somewhat unpalatable to most anyone with any sense of decency?

  2. Todd,

Much worse than that happens to the non-elect babies who die in infancy (if there are any, I don't think Scripture's clear here).

I've already blogged on this subject in the past.

This is your fictitious description of hell. As I've said before, I don't interpret the Bible the way Tim LaHaye does.
