In light of the rise of the alt-right, some of whom hanker to turn (or return, in their view) the USA into a white homeland, I'd like to draw attention to three up-and-coming conservative Christian American "minorities":
You continue to rely upon a straw man. A comfortable white Christian majority is the goal. The 'hankering' is not for an ethnostate - we're not as racist as Israel.
I'd add that to my knowledge, Jewish identity is not a racial category in Israeli law. You're Jewish if your mother is Jewish. If, say, your mother is Liz Taylor, that qualifies you to be Jewish.
Ethnostate: A political unit that is populated by and run in the interest of an ethnic group.
On the one hand, Harry Cassandra has said: "A comfortable white Christian majority is the goal. The 'hankering' is not for an ethnostate".
On the other hand, Harry Cassandra has said: "We want the opposite. Raise population and birth rates - government stimulus packages offered to white families that have children. But that's discrimination!!! Yeah? So? Who made it the highest and only sin in the world that 'Thou Shalt Not Discriminate In Favour of White People In White Countries'?"
@HC: you are far more racist than Israel, which has Arab participation in all levels of society plus has a Christian minority that is the most educated people group in that country. The Gospel is preached much more freely there than it ever was in your quintessential white homeland of Nazi Germany.
Again I challenge you to provide some Scriptural warrant for your racial views, which seem to contradict the doctrine of creation and Paul's words in Acts 17:26 re: God creating all men from one blood. You clAimto be a Christian, so I'm calling you out to act like one. Convince me that your position has. Scriptural basis rather than just writing out screed from the Spotlight.
Harry says that he doesn't want an ethnostate, just a white homeland, a homeland run by a comfortable white majority in the interests of that majority. It obviously rests solidly on race, but provides great benefits to all races. Ironically, that is a principle that is literally from the actual textbook on the ethnostate. Harry is living in denial.
He does not deny his racism either. They are, he says, not as racist as Israel. Notice he doesn't say "racist, like Israel," rather he says "as racist as Israel." That's a lovely concession. So Harry's Christianity isn't the Christianity of the New Covenant; his Christianity is white nationalist Christianity.

ReplyDeleteI'd recommend Greenland as the perfect choice for a white homeland.
DeleteIsrael isn't racist. For instance, some Arabs are Israeli citizens. But thanks for tipping your hand.

@steve: Greenland is predominantly Inuit; at least there will be someone to shovel Harry's walkway.

Long time no see!
DeleteGood to hear from you, Gene!
DeleteYes, it's good to hear from you again, Gene.
DeleteI can found among the chattering classes on social media. Reports of my demise are grossly overstated.
