Assuming a Christian view of weak panentheism were true for the sake of argument, that might help alleviate some of the tension involved in how to explain Calvinistic reprobation. Maybe Calvinists can employ a version of the atheistic argument for abortion to explain how God can reprobate the non-elect. While at the same time denying the right of humans aborting their infants since God is the higher and greater Authority, Person(s) and (supreme) Being above human authority, persons and being.
Interestingly, there are some Christians who argue for some form of Christian panentheism. For example, https://youtu.be/_xki03G_TO4
ReplyDeleteSome even argue that Jonathan Edwards' theology was at times panentheistic.
