Actually, the negative reviews on Rotten Tomatoes largely bear out Godawa's claim above, although less so with respect to the portrayal of Islam. The only thing I myself didn't like in the review (of my brief scan of it) is what he omitted when he writes, "Yes, killing evil people who deserve to die is good, true and beautiful." Maybe it is all of those things, but it is another thing: tragic. And that makes Godawa's value claim far too simplistic for my taste.
