Presidential apologies
Barack Obama has been criticized lately for apologizing to Muslims in the Koran-burning incident. but one major objection I have that I haven't seen leveled yet is this: When a Commander-in-Chief puts our soldiers in harm's way, when he sends many of them to their death, when many return home horribly maimed, the very least they should expect from him is that he will back them up. Instead, Obama apologizes for them. Shames them. He puts them in danger, then leaves them with a knife sticking in their back. A mark of true leadership is to never demand more loyalty from others than you show to others.
