The dishonesty of skeptics is astounding. Seeing Pinker exposed in this way reminds me of the way Richard Carrier has been exposed for his misuse of sources, and misinterpretations of select passages of ancient texts.
According to your link, Calvin was responsible for the burning death of one man (Servetus).
According to this site, however, it appears that he was directly responsible for the deaths of closer to several dozen, maybe a hundred, and the expulsion and/or severe punishment of hundreds more.
I'm not one to believe everything I read on the internet, but clearly ... someone's story is inaccurate.
