Israel: Ancient Kingdom or Late Invention?
This should prove to be an essential addition to your OT apologetics library.
From the Publisher: A collection of essays responding to the radical claims that Israel and its history actually began following the Babylonian exile, and that the history of Israel we read about in the Bible is a fictionalized account.
Here's a list of a few of the contributors: Block, Hess, Hoffmeir, Millard, Walton, Yamauchi.

When you finish it, will you give a review on Triablogue?
ReplyDeleteI have this in my cart on Amazon, but still have several other books to read before it.
Nevertheless, this should be a great book in light of the recent debate between the T-bloggers and the village "I use Wiki for my info" atheists.
I also look forward to Beale's defense of inerrancy.
I'll definitely leave something small on my goodreads account. Depending on time, I'll draw up a more detailed one for here.
