In his book review, J.I. Packer used the term "triadic analytical technique" to describe how Poythress approaches hermeneutics and now apparently other fields. It might be fair to say that Tim Keller (and Ed Clowney before him) have been putting this triadic technique to work in homiletics as well. I am still trying to grasp the first chapter of God-Centered Biblical Interpretation...
