Verminous theodicy

"I still don't understand the need for mosquitos."

God made them for hell. They were created to make life a bit more stimulating for the damned.

However, the day of judgment has yet to arrive, so they are having a temporary layover on earth before they proceed to their final destination.

  1. Oh, would it then be ok in your judgment to agree with Peter, here:

2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.
2Pe 3:11 Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness,
2Pe 3:12 waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn!

That Godly man Webster defined hastening this way:::>

    Inflected Form(s): has·tened; has·ten·ing \ˈhās-niŋ, ˈhā-sən-iŋ\
    Date: 1568
    intransitive verb
: to move or act quickly
    transitive verb
    1 : to urge on
    2 : accelerate

    — has·ten·er \ˈhās-nər, ˈhā-sən-ər\ noun

If so, I would agree with you and stand in prayer because when two or more agree together on matters of God and Heaven, He contacts His Hastener and, whippee! one, two, three, four, what we fightin' for... ...cause, ....we're all goin' die!?

  2. But must they torment the elect in this life?

  3. Well, surely this one will make em' mad?

"All things work together for Our Good!"

Peter did say, "if necessary" cf. 1 Peter 1:6.

  4. I would like to see an Arminian or a Molinist get their heads around this?

He is a bit heavy on principles, but, without arms or legs, I guess I am willing to give him a pass.

What department of theodicy would you classify that?
