Fort Hood's 9/11

From Ralph Peters.

  1. Political correctness killed those patriotic Americans at Ft. Hood as surely as the Islamist gunman did.

Yep. And who's responsible for Political Correctness infecting American society? Liberals. And their enablers.

Maj. Hasan will be a hero to Islamist terrorists abroad and their sympathizers here.

    Of course.

The US Army’s unforgivable political correctness is also to blame for the casualties at Ft. Hood.

    Of course.

But no officer in his chain of command, either at Walter Reed Army Medical Center or at Ft. Hood, had the guts to take meaningful action against a dysfunctional soldier and an incompetent doctor.

Hello? Because his or her career would've been torpedoed.

If heads don’t roll in this maggot’s chain of command, the Army will have shamed itself beyond moral redemption.

Whose head(s) do you think should get rolled? How high up are you willing to go?

For the first time since I joined the Army in 1976, I’m ashamed of its dereliction of duty.

I'll go you one better. When Obama was elected President, I was ashamed for America and where it's heading.

And we’re assured that "Islam’s a religion of peace."

I don't buy it. Never have.

But when do we, the American public, knock off the PC nonsense?

Sadly, I don't know if we ever will.

P.S. Does Hasan's actions constitute a Hate Crime?

  2. Thanks for posting this, Patrick.

I sent the Post an e-mail that said this:

I agree with Mr. Peters' take on this. One thing I would add, though. The word "tragedy" used to describe Islamic terrorist attacks is, in my view, just as PC as any other inappropriate terminology regularly used in reference to these matters. When are we going to call Islamic attacks what they really are? They're atrocities. When are we going to grow some and stop dancing around reality?

  3. My 19 year old is currently at Ft. Campbell, just returning from a two week simulated deployment to Afgan as a training for going there soon.

We were talking about this shooting event that day. I cannot communicate fully what goes on inside a Reformed Elect Believer who has raised his son with the same Spirit of Grace present.

There are things this present Church needs to be doing which I am most convinced She is not.

    Here's a couple:

1Ti 6:12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

    and

2Pe 3:11 Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness,
2Pe 3:12 waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn!

This same Apostle, Peter, knows full well the fruits of the activity of the Church fired up and engaged in the true battles of war waged and being waged still, against Her:::>

Act 12:1 About that time Herod the king laid violent hands on some who belonged to the church.
Act 12:2 He killed James the brother of John with the sword,
Act 12:3 and when he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded to arrest Peter also. This was during the days of Unleavened Bread.

I do believe Paul learned from that praying Church, praying for Peter as these Words so indicate:::>

Col 4:2 Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.
Col 4:3 At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison--
Col 4:4 that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak.

You see these guys learned personally from Jesus how to fight:::>

Mat 26:51 And behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand and drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his ear.
Mat 26:52 Then Jesus said to him, "Put your sword back into its place. For all who take the sword will perish by the sword.
Mat 26:53 Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels?
Mat 26:54 But how then should the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so?"
