Yes, that is the correct meaning of "as well" in my sentence. There have been several Christians in the news with it recently, and not only just "random" newsworthy believers, but people whom I've had actual interactions with. Mentally, I'm including those like Nabeel Qureshi and, as Hawk pointed out, Tim Keller too.
Hello TheFlyingCouch, Keller is still alive and, as of this point, asymptomatic. He says his cancer was caught during a regular screening, so they did catch it early. All that said... No cancer is good cancer.

ReplyDeleteThanks. :-)
Delete"As well"?
ReplyDeleteMeaning, "in addition to steve"? I realize I'm fishing, so please kindly ignore or delete this comment if it's inappropriate to ask.

DeleteSteve’s memoir mentioned that his cancer was lymphoma
DeleteTim Keller recently announced he has pancreatic cancer.
ReplyDeleteCan't even enjoy my breakfast without stumbling across the obituaries. Memento Mori.

I never have much of a rosy outlook when I hear cancer. Unless it's basal cell carcinoma, which is a pretty wimpy cancer.
