Even if Mary is the New Covenant Ark, she points to Christ in the same way the Old Covenant Ark does. Away from itself and not to itself. God immediate and direct blessing in Christ by the Holy Spirit removes all need for temporary and incomplete intermediates and intermediaries. Once you've found the fount and chosen to live there, you don't need the "Culligan Man" to deliver you water for a price.
