Celebrating Reformation Day is awkward. The Protestant should want to acknowledge the richness that various Protestant traditions have brought to the world while simultaneously lamenting the fracturing of the body of Christ that gave birth to those traditions.— Tentative Apologist (@RandalRauser) October 31, 2019
The Reformation was a liberation movement like the Exodus. It didn't fracture the body of Christ since the Roman Church on the eve of the Reformation wasn't the body of Christ but a straying denomination containing some true believers who had nowhere better to go until the Reformation gave them an escape route.
That is brilliant.

DeleteI guess Randal forgets the divisions within the RCC itself.
