The Socrates and Paul episodes were witty, relevant and contained nods to their source material.
For this episode, I felt that so much more could have been done with Mo's utter inability (according to the Islamic sources) to differentiate between Allah's words vs Iblis' words, and Jibril / a djinn that looks like Jibril / a pretty boy whom Jibril looks like.
Throw in 'the best makr' / father of lies / angel of light (the most beautiful of cherubim) and you get a a potent cocktail that's less on the nose than this Hollywood stereotype devil.

Props on the reciting & shaking reference though!
