From a Catholic perspective, how can you help men become "men after God's own heart" when there is so much fear and power mongering? Plus, I can't imaging all seminaries begin like the one portrayed in the article. However, the spillover from the bad ones influence the rest of the episcopate. How can you trust your priest to truly have your best interest in heart? Especially when they don't even believe what they are preaching and performing. What does that do to the nature of the sacraments, are they really still valid, regardless of the tradition and teaching of the RC? How can you trust your priest?
