God's eraser

According to Arminian theologian Roger Olson, God had a plan–but he used a pencil rather than a pen:

The original plan (to speak mythically) did not include the cross, but it became part of the plan when humanity rebelled.

  2. Statements like these are why I've claimed for years that consistent Arminianism has to deny the immutability of God. It also denies God's omniscience, in that God had to come up with an alternative plan when His first one didn't work (but shouldn't He have known?).
