Stephen Braude On Some Modern Paranormal Phenomena

A couple of recent presentations by Stephen Braude are available on YouTube. Here's one about his initial investigations of the Felix Circle group in Germany, which I discussed in a post last year. And here's one on the thoughtography of Ted Serios.

  1. Believers have been warned about having anything to do with mediums and the like.

  2. Depends on what you mean by "having to do with."

Should Christians participate in a seance? No.

But that's different than studying the phenomenon, just as we might study the phenomenon of witchcraft.

And this is second-hand. Not our own direct investigations, but reviewing the investigations of paranormal researchers.

  4. I doubt there's many naturalistic scientists who interest themselves in the paranormal. But I would be interested to know how many advocates of the paranormal believe in macro-evolution.
