  1. It's so bizarre how except for 2, which is just nonsense, the rest are almost the opposite. Many of them, even according to the Quran itself. Most of the others, based on history according to Muslims (if the Quran was perfectly preserved, why did someone collect as many Qurans as possible, pick the "right" version, and burn the rest?).

It really beggars belief that anyone could believe such nonsense, until someone in the comment section goes and claims that since Joshua narrates a dream where the dreamer sees a tree reach to the sky such that it's visible from anywhere, that the Bible teaches a flat earth.

    1. "Joshua narrates a dream where the dreamer sees a tree reach to the sky such that it's visible from anywhere"

I suppose it depends what their specific objection is. God can speak through dreams, dreams are often unrealistic or even absurd or surreal, dreams can be prophetic, etc.

"the Bible teaches a flat earth"

Of course, it's highly debatable the Bible teaches a flat earth. At the very least, they'd have to make their case that the Bible teaches a flat earth. At the same time, we've already dealt with arguments about this in the past from the likes of Peter Enns, Paul Seely, etc.

    2. I really couldn't figure out how to structure that sentence to flow well. Words are hard. A dream with a tree reaching to the heavens was used as proof the Bible teaches a flat earth.

    3. Ah, sorry! I see now.

It's such a silly claim that I don't even know where to start.
