"Tim Tebow: God's Quarterback"

  1. When the Lord comes back he will uproot Madison Wisconsin and throw it into Lake Michigan. Then the New Jerusalem will descend and hover over Lambeau Field and the Packers will win the superbowl every year for 1,000 years.

    Go Pack!

  2. I love that Tim Tebow proclaims the name of Christ and that his increased visibility, while certainly not always or even primarily focusing on Christ, is bringing Christ into more conversations that would otherwise be the case. Let the name of the Lord be praised!

  3. It's always puzzled me as to why Christians don't celebrate Blamegiving as well as Thanksgiving. After all, isn't God responsible for both their wins and losses?

  4. I thank God for losses because they humble us and make us more Christ. They also show our weakness and thus makes us more dependent on God thus drawing us nearer to God, the source of all joy.

I thank God for my mentally unwell wife, one of my "losses".

"Then his wife said to him, 'Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die.' But he said to her, 'You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. Shall we receive good from God, and shall we not receive evil?' In all this Job did not sin with his lips." (Job 2:9-10)
