Pat Robertson’s infamous statement about divorcing a wife with Alzheimer’s had been greeted with nearly universal denunciation among Evangelical spokesmen. One oft-cited counterexample is the way B. B. Warfield cared for his invalid wife.
But a less well-known example is the case of John S. Feinberg. He’s the son of late great OT scholar and Messianic Jew Charles Lee Feinberg.
Feinberg is a seminary prof. An academic. But he’s no stranger to adversity. His brother Paul died of complications from diabetes. And, for many years, John Feinberg has cared for his wife, who suffers from Huntington’s disease.

ReplyDeleteBTW, this book as well as other books by Feinberg are available at a much cheaper cost on Kindle than in traditional book format.
He also talks about suffering in his book "Deceived by God." I read the book in one sitting at the TEDS seminary library. That's how engrossing it was. Maybe "Where is God?" is the same book under a different title.
