The goal of Bible translation

There's a lot of unnecessary controversy, confusion, and complication about Bible translation philosophy. So let's clear that up once and for all: the goal of faithful Bible translation is to translate the Greek and Hebrew text back into the original King James Version!

  1. If the King James was good enough for the apostle Paul, it's good enough for me!

  2. Also, make sure it's the Pure Cambridge Edition. See this article showing some of the differences between the various editions:

Not other editions like the early 1800s London (B), Victorian London (L), Victorian Oxford (O), Victorian Cambridge (C), the 1950s London Edition (LE), the 1950s Oxford (OE) and the Concord Cambridge (CC).
