  1. Isnt it still a maybe for the Protestant?
    Salvation by grace alone, secured by Christ alone through faith alone, but isn’t it still degrees of fluctuating assurance based on you’re level of certainty that the faith you have today is indeed true saving faith that will last till the end?
    Better than the Catholic option of basing your assurance on your performance/cooperation cause at least you’re depending on Christ’s perfect work.
    But still no way to be certain you’re elect and his work has been imputed to you till you’re dead...

    2. The Synod of Dort didn't think it was a big problem. Several of the canon articles address the availability and desirability of assurance for believers.
