Babies are "parasites"

Robert P. George comments:

Scholars of the history of genocides observe that people who want to kill other people invariably develop and deploy forms of rhetoric designed to dehumanize the victims. A well-known example is the Nazis referring to the Jews as "vermin." In the debate over abortion, a similar rhetoric is deployed to dehumanize unborn children. Abortion advocates, such as those pictured here (with big smiles on their faces), label them "parasites." To justify killing them, they suggest that they are the moral equivalent of lice or leeches or tapeworms.

  1. At least that is a more realistic view than them saying that “the fetus is part of my body”.

    1. Abortionists can't seem to make up their minds. Is it just a dead clump of cells? Is it alive but a parasite? Is it a parasitic clump of cells like a cancer? Anything and everything is possible except it's a baby.

  2. If true, these girls were also parasites. I'm sure they're happy their parents didn't think of them in this way. These are sad times.

  3. Every generation has some women like those in the picture, who are young, stupid, perhaps mentally ill, and not representative of the norm.

Is the national agenda determined by these kinds of subgroups?

If 1960s presidents rolled over because a bunch of hippies sounded cool...

    Im puzzled sometimes.

    1. Unfortunately, the problem is that this mentality about the unborn (not to mention others like the elderly) is taking over the Democratic party. The Democratic party has become increasingly radically progressive on the issue of abortion (as well many other issues). Just consider, for example, that only a few months ago the governor of Virginia, Ralph Northam defended his state's delegate Kathy Tran on her abortion bill that would allow for abortion all the way up to the moment of delivery. Many Democratic leaders defended both Northam and Tran. It's only when Northam's "blackface" fiasco came out that Democrats began denouncing him. They cared about Northam's racist past, but they didn't seem to care anywhere near as much about his present views on abortion.
