  1. Both men are scientific heroes of mine. Faraday did so much with so little. His Christmas lectures on the properties of candles (if I recall targeted at children in his day) still demonstrate impressive intuition and insight.

    I imagine if Maxwell had lived longer he could've have uncovered far more. Perhaps even preempted Einstein to some extent? Who knows.
