Libidinous mortality

I'd be remiss if I didn't draw your attention to the awesome fact that Perry Robinson has discovered the fountain of youth. As he recently explained:

"The magisterium hasn’t defined that issue one way or another. The’ve held off from saying she died. The reason why they haven’t done so is because death is a product of libido. If Mary died a natural death then she had original sin and original guilt."

So, at least where men are concerned, the secret to immortality is chemical castration.

Of course, that carries certain tradeoffs, so it comes down to one of those "Your libido or your life" type dilemmas.

  1. I'm surprised there aren't any comments on this; this is good stuff.

  2. "If Mary died a natural death then she had original sin and original guilt."

Yet they have no problem with asserting that Mary is the woman of Revelation 12 despite the pains of childbirth (Rev. 12:2) being a consequence of the Fall (Gen. 3:16).

  3. I think you're confused.

Libido here means concupiscience, not in the freudian sense of sexual desire or drive per se. Augustine uses the two terms interchangably to mean the same thing.

So the secret to immortality is toget rid of or not have original sin.

I am sure there is something in there to which you'll disagree.
