    It's not bad but I don't think it's that great either. Probably Jason E could make a better review of it.

  3. Everett Ferguson’s Encyclopedia Of Early Christianity (New York: Garland Publishing, Inc., 1999) is useful.

    David Bercot’s book has some good material, but it addresses the ante-Nicene period, not the later fathers, and it cites page numbers in a collection of the fathers rather than making reference to individual works. I think that Bercot was an Anglican, but became a Mennonite. I disagree with him on some issues, such as his treatment of justification.
