Hey, Cory, that's so kind of you. We've decided not to do a pre-order period this time, because the way it works is that the publisher is required to have all of the final files uploaded even to do pre-order. So the publisher and I decided that it doesn't have any advantage (e.g., a couple more weeks to finalize the files) over just hitting "go" on the order as soon as the final files are uploaded to the printer. We're treating the current period as somewhat like a pre-order period--that is, a period to get interest going on it. So my publisher, Nathan Ward, is just working as fast as he can to copy-edit and typeset the endorsements, put whatever blurbs are going to go on the back cover, get the final spine width calculated and sent to the graphic designer for the cover (that's the kind of thing I didn't even know had to be done!), and get the final electronic files where they need to go, after which they take (I think) a couple of weeks to process.
So looking forward to this book! I keep refreshing the Amazon page to see if they're listing the preorder :D
