God the Father

I descend from a line of addicts, dropouts, felons, & cultists.

I grew up dirt poor above a bar.

Prostitutes serviced their Johns outside my window.

I got expelled from high school my freshmen year & arrested several times.

I was following the path of family.

But God...

..called me to Himself through the simple preaching of the gospel by some no-name evangelist.

One day I was an atheist, the next day a Christian.

God the Father brought be me into His household and gave me a new family line.

There now was a fork in the Foster family line.

Becoming a godly patriarch begins with submiting to the rule of the Father from which all fatherhood derives its name (Eph 3:15).

He works powerfully by His Spirit in His children.

I am not my father. I am becoming like my Father.

And that has changed everything.
