It would be interesting now to have a discussion about how long now Rod Dreher’s future life span will be.
I was going to ask if you really thought there might be a bishop or cardinal that was evil enough to commit murder to make this all go away. But then I realized I answered my own question. I like Rod. He’s a clear-thinking writer and tries very hard to avoid being another partisan hack. I hope your concerns never come to be.
It’s not just the bishops and cardinals. If Dreher keeps writing, and other similar investigations continue to go on, there is no telling what will happen.
