Advice for the next papal conclave

    1. I think that is Piper's point. He is employing irony. A 'Pope' with these qualities would be deliberately contrary to the whole absurd system that is Roman Catholicism, and would thus necessitate its non-existence. And wouldn't that be a wonderful blessing.
