Question: I listened to Peterson's interview with the woman on gender pay gap, and I listened to his discussion with Sam Harris. I thought Peterson described himself as a Darwinist. Did I get that right or wrong?
I tend to think he is agnostic, but that he agrees with someone like Kant (and he cites Jung a lot) to the effect that even if we can't prove that there's a God, living as if God exists is good for the culture.

ReplyDeleteMy impression is that he's an atheist who sees the ethical value of cultural Christianity.
