What skeptics don't seem to understand is that the material in the Gospels was being orally transmitted and written before the final products came out.
I like Michael, but he seems to not want to believe in Christianity for some reason. On Jime Sayaka's defunct blog (Subversive Thinking), he said in an interview that Jesus was real, but he wasn't some transcendent figure or something.
