  1. Steve,

I'm glad to see you are finally on to this. It is a VERY good critique. I actually recommended this same article several months ago to another "thought" leader in our church, and also tried to broach the subject to my pastor (did not get far). Sadly, it doesn't seem to have had much of an impact yet. I think most folks in the wider "conservative" church are either unaware of this whole issue or think that there can be a "Christian" spin on this and are waiting to see how things pan out. I couldn't disagree more. I'm worried that the reason certain folks are utilizing CRT inside the churches is because they sympathize with much of the underlying ideology. Here's a few more resources:

Also, I have a question - is there a 7-day limit for when you can post comments, or some other restriction?

    Thanks!

  2. Also, here are a few of the more explicit expressions of CRT from those associated with RAAN:

Jarvis Williams is one proponent, and he teaches at SBTS (http://www.sbts.edu/academics/faculty/jarvis-williams/). Some articles:

(note: his recommendation of reading the book "Critical Race Theory: An Introduction" would be welcome if it was to understand how to navigate/refute such stuff, but if he's an advocate of it, would seem to indicate it wants it assimilated for Christian uses, etc.)

Jemar Tisby is another advocate, and is apparently an assistant to Ligon Duncan at RTS (https://www.rts.edu/jackson/faculty/bio.aspx?id=693):
