Has anyone seen this?

Might be worth a response or two on Twitter.

  1. It sounds like they're attempting to impose their secular beliefs and values onto the rest of us.

  2. I'm wondering if they're advocating anarchy. Or, if not, what kind of values would they like to have imposed. Have you noticed that Obama is now advocating "American values" which do not reflect "early American" values, but the values now advocated by the modern-day elites?

  3. "Values" is just another word for "preferences." Given that fact, I can't support imposing anyone's values on others by legal means. And too often, that is just what laws are.

Instead, laws ought to uphold human rights and responsibilities and promote morality among the citizenry. Other than that, leave them alone.

  4. "Christian Sharia Law." LOL

Would probably be more tolerant than Progressive Sharia Law.

  5. Wait. Is his name really "Dean Obeyed Allah?"

  6. I've started talking to Dean. I've challenged him on whether we should avoid making murder illegal since it's a Christian principle to condemn murder. He of course backed off on calling that "Chirstian sharia law" and qualified that remark as specifically condemning making laws based off of religious texts.

  7. Thanks for the support, team! And thanks to you Prince Asbel for continuing. Just today, Dean gave just a little. He said, in essence, "yes, but that all changed in 1797". So progress is being made as we pray that God is glorified in this effort.
