He was for it before he was agin it

When John McCain said we could just muddle through in Afghanistan, I argued for more resources and more troops to finish the fight against the terrorists who actually attacked us on 9/11, and made clear that we must take out Osama bin Laden and his lieutenants if we have them in our sights...I will end this war in Iraq responsibly and finish the fight against Al Qaida and the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Because I think Obama has health care right, the economy right, Iraq and Afghanistan right, and for a number of other reasons, I do support him for President.

  1. Steve,

This is off-topic (again), but have you seen any reviews of James McGrath's book on John's theology?

Also, he reviewed Andreas Kostenberger's book on the Trinity in the IVP Biblical theology series:

Lastly, have you had the time to take a look at Kostenberger's work on Johannine theology (published by Zondervan)?

  2. I've bought Kostenberger's new book on Johannine theology, but haven't had time to do much with it.

  3. Oops. That is not an endorsement for the article. That was presenting something for possible discussion. Eisegesis again. This is getting to be a pattern.

  4. So even though you plugged that anti-war article, you actually oppose it. Is that it?

  5. Does this mean you support the troop surge in Afghanistan? After all, that's what Obama campaigned on, and you gave that as a reason to vote for him. Which is it, Victor?

  6. I thought it would be a good idea to double down on bin Laden and get him. He did attack us, Saddam did not. I'm willing to consider arguments on all sides of this issue, however. No one seems to have picked up the debate, at the moment.

  7. Victor,

I notice your use of the past tense. Does this mean you're wavering? But you gave that as a reason to vote for Obama. So are you now withdrawing that reason? Is that one less reason to vote for Obama?
