Libel?

“...but suffice it to say that those familiar with his antics probably spend an equal amount of time wondering what drugs his parents used during his gestation.”

So Danny is now insinuating that Walton's parents are junkies? Hmm. Sounds like the basis of a defamation suit, if you ask me.

  1. Steve, you are just sooooo cute! Just like a friggin' teddy bear!

It's clear that this whole thing has you bothered a bit, perhaps because you rushed to the aid of a character like Frank, and exposed yourself for the character you lack. Perhaps because in your original post, you goofily implied that two copyright law firms were idiots and that you know jurisprudence. Perhaps because your profile picture is of a man whose gayness is only doubted by those who wish they could've been Randolph Scott.

Care to rebut the substance of my post at DC? You know, like, you know, like, a REAL reply?

No, I'm sure you don't. Since I showed you for the a** you are.

Gonna ask Gene to apologize for lying?

No, I'm sure you won't. Since you and yours are well-known for your vacuous moral talk.

BTW, in my statement, is clearly opinion, and thus, no tort potential. But, I'm sure Frank wouldn't want to start the ball rolling, because he'd face a great number of counter-suits, and he knows it.

I don't think I needed your legal help in determining whether I had a case or not, and, as much as I see you wanting to help ol' Frank out again, as you and he must be tight, and share your depth and magnitude of love for Jeebus, I doubt whether Frank wants to start a legal fight, knowing the sh*t he'd stir up. Perhaps Frank should seek his counsel elsewhere, after all, your legal expertise was shown a little lacking, was it not?

You have anything else to say, say it in the thread at DC. Boosting your hit count is not on my agenda.

  2. And I think Daniel Morgan should try see himself as others see him. So, Morgan sees Walton as a 'character' (presumably bad). And that Walton was nasty to him.

But reading what this chap says, I can't help but feel that he's about fourteen. Silly names, 'bad-boy' rudeness. It's all the same as you find at Frank Walton's site. And it's frankly a bit wearing (no pun intended).

Morgan, old man, if you want to be taken seriously, demonstrate that you deserve it. Now, I don't know US law, but I think you Americans are too prone to reach for lawyers. Can't you settle it like gentlemen?
