About The Da Vinci Code:
McRyanMac: "The reality is so devastating to Dan Brown's absurd novel that if properly explained it might shame some from ever questioning the veracity of the Bible again. It's humiliating being so wrong so many times and no one wants to be ridiculed. I can just hear students parroting Teabing as if he was a real person or claimed real history. When they find out that the Priory of Sion is a bald hoax, the dam of ignorance will crack and then a flood of errors, omissions and falsehoods will burst forth in deluge. Humiliations galore."
Also outlined are some simple tools that Campus Crusade has developed to dismantle the Da Vinci Hoax.
I find it extremely odd that anyone reading the DaVinci Code, an explicit work of fiction, would have the gullibility to believe that an idea as preposterous as the Priory of Scion, as Dan Brown tells it, could possibly be true.

ReplyDeleteAbsurity runneth amuck!
Maybe it's the fact that Brown lists the "Priory of Sion" among the facts that precede his work of fiction, alongside Opus Dei (which is real) and a claim to faithful description of all works of art and architecture in the book.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that Brown didn't know it was a hoax.
So: "I find it extremely odd that anyone writing the DaVinci Code, an explicit work of fiction, would have the gullibility to claim as fact an idea as preposterous as the Priory [sic] of Scion [sic], as Dan Brown writes it, and base a novel on it."
Go figure.
