So is the idea that there's no significant difference between the parties. The Republican party is far better than the Democratic party. It has been for a long time, and it probably will be for a long time to come. See <a href="http://triablogue.blogspot.com/2008/09/no-significant-difference-between.html" rel="nofollow">here</a> for some examples. And for most people under most circumstances, it won't make sense to vote for any third party this year. For those who are interested, I've addressed the problems with voting for third parties in many previous threads.
