One can do good behaviors with evil intent or bad behaviors with good intent. (However, it should be noted that this could result in the argument to justify bad behaviors on ignorance or stupidity where such was not the case.)Jim Pembertonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01446388434272680014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6789188.post-2016372172377757812009-09-01T12:36:08.252-04:002009-09-01T12:36:08.252-04:00You're the one being snarky. I'm simply refusing to play your stupid game.

If it is the case that I cannot know I am elect, then it is equally the case that you cannot know I will engage in "future apostasy." Since your own stupid question is invalidated by your premises, I don't need to waste time playing your game. Rather, it warns continually against apostasy, falling away and being deceived by false teachers. It suggests that one "work out one's salvation in fear and trembling".

In some instances, it even declares God as the author of their deception.

If you can point to a Scripture reference that acknowledges that the elect are given full knowledge of their status before God, please reference it.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04361879638625626574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6789188.post-20877996160511838682009-08-31T18:03:34.067-04:002009-08-31T18:03:34.067-04:00John,
