I have a real struggle with this issue because, on the one hand, I can see in Scripture where we are commanded to honor our leaders and submit to authority. But on the other hand, the way most Christians I know present the case, it's almost as though the government has the right to make whatever laws they want and Christians are under obligation to submit themselves to those laws (with the one exception being in the case that the government orders us to disobey God). I mean, if the government were to pass a law that required all men to wear pink dresses at all times, would I really be sinning if I refused to wear the dress???Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6789188.post-75594857252569655362008-08-07T09:05:00.000-04:002008-08-07T09:05:00.000-04:00I think it would be appropriate to hide them from ...I think it would be appropriate to hide them from the authorities.stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16547070544928321788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6789188.post-75517091297051782682008-08-06T22:39:00.000-04:002008-08-06T22:39:00.000-04:00Steve,Given what you said about the state not havi...Steve,

Given what you said about the state not having the right to take away your freedom of self-defense, in the event that the government does take away our right to bear arms, do you think it would be wrong to keep your guns secretly in case there is a time you might need them to protect you or your family?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
