This has become...Sir, I hope you're not surprised. This has become, if not a common viewpoint, one that has achieved a certain high-water mark among some communities. It stems from the fading distinction in the thinking of some between man and the rest of creation. I always mess up this quote, but someone slightly famous is supposed to have said "A pig is a dog is a boy is a rat," or something to that effect. Remember the recent effort in Spain to grant certain rights to sub-human primates?<BR/><BR/>Of course, in some quarters the term "sub-human" would be considered a form of speciesism.
